Quiksilver's Kelly Slater clinched an historic and unprecedented 11th ASP World Title today in the cold and challenging waters of San Francisco's Ocean Beach. Slater, 39, is the first surfer to achieve 11 ASP World Titles, an accomplishment spanning two decades of an astounding career during which he has dominated competitive surfing as both the youngest and oldest ASP World Champion.

Breaka PRO - Garcia and Flores in violent fight
Jeremy Flores was disqualified from the Burleigh Breaka Pro on Saturday after he was involved in fight with a local surfer. The altercation elevated when Sunny Garcia rushed into the water grabbed the local surfer in a headlock and repeatedly punched him in the head.
Andy Irons Memorial - Kauai - 14/11/2010
1,000 friends in a paddle out beyond the rising waves to encircle a double-hull canoe that carried Andy's wife Lyndie, his parents and close friends. On shore, thousands more watched on as Andy's ashes were released into the sea and flowers poured from a helicopter circling above.
