About the Rip Curl Pro
Last year hometown hero Billy Stairmand defended his Rip Curl Pro title at the 2009 Rip Curl Pro - Raglan defeating seventeen year old Buck Woods in the process. In a coup for the local surfers, they took out four of the five divisions contested at the event with Jess Santorik winning the Clean & Clear Women's Pro and Alexis Poulter winning the Under 16 Rip Curl GromSearch national final.
The Rip Curl Pro is held at Manu Bay, Raglan. A perfect boulder bottom point break which produced consistend quality waves year-round.
The Point as it's commonly referred to, is the ultimate competition venue which offers spectators an amazing and close overview of the waves and surfing action.

I got the best one out at Indies by far while the little boys were doing their little sliders at Manu Bay. Without blowing my own trumpet which Ive been known to do I was a standout. My switch rodeo kickflip in the barrel would have won by a landslide if the cameramen werent being paid by Rip Curl. Yes - you heard it... they are paid by Rip Curl. My 6 figure sponsorship with the Warehouse obviouly doesnt sit well with this Australian corporation.. Its a conspiracy.

It's called encouraging innovative surfing during an event which normally wouldn't do so. It adds to the event, and is good to see this kind of thing happening in NZ.

Look zipples or nipples or whatever your flamin name is. My 7'6 chinese import is a work or art. Those little nippon clippons make a damn fine board. The odd one might come with the fins in the top or the leggie plug at the nose but thats a small price to pay for having a quality NZ company like the Warehouse involved in surfing in this country. They have new range coming out soon with - wait for it... three fins. This will turn surfing on its head. Watch this space!!!

button's, you said it yourself! its a small price to pay, for a piece of shit product... you obviously have no respect and loyalty for the country we live in! no support for the backyard boys trying to make a living out of hard work and talent! crafting pieces of art, for their customers and friends to enjoy, have a laugh on and maby even try make a living with... im thinking your a, what did you call it, "little nippon clippon" yourself! and, if i knew who you were, there's no way in hell id be letting you even catch any waves out indicators to try your switch rodeo kickflip's in the barrel... dick
