Disaster at one of Bali's most Famous surf spots, as a 150 foot fishing boat run's aground at Padang Padang.Reports suggest that the boat was infact a Taiwanese vessel illegally fishing in Indo waters. The crew of the boat evacuated and dissapeared taking with them all documents on the boat.

The 2008 Central Surf Single Fin Surf Contest held in magic 2-3ft glassy waves at Hickory Bay on the Banks Pen.
The Roaring 40’s organising committee pulled another perfect weekend out of the bag for the 2008 event. Sunny sky’s highly contestable waves and a right hander between 2-4 foot all to themselves put a big smile on everyone’s face. 
R&R South Island Longboard Pro Am -- Michael Burling did just that, throwing caution to the wind Burling launched into several of the 1.0m set waves with a vertical attack.
