Super stoked to announce I have signed back on with Carve Eyewear, FCS and Gorilla Grip. I have been splashed up big time, so am looking like I will be competing on the longboard series in both NZ and Aus, looking at qualification for the World Longboard Tour 2010(WLT).

Carve, FCS and G-Grip join my other epic sponsors Skullcandy, Freestyle, Sticky Johnson, New Wave and Gordon wetsuits as I hunt down that elusive spot on the WLT.

The next NZ contest is up in the sunny North, with Sandy Bay hosting the first leg of the Hyundai Pro Longboard Tour. Here is a video of yours truly taking home the title in ‘09’, looking to go “Back to Back” this year. Some stiff overseas competition will be there in the likes of Josh Constable and Taylor Jensen, so lets get it on!

Keep on clicking...

Good to know about when the next contest is on and that there will be some strong international competitors. But honestly Dan, this is hardly a blog - it's a promotional paragraph for you and your sponsors. Don't see any other bloggers or top surfers simply rating themselves and listing off their sponsors.

When it's so hard for longboarders to get sponsorship its vital for the lucky few that do to take every opportunity to possible to represent in order to retain them. Good on you bro and good luck for the season! You have the talent with a nice mix of both traditional and progressive to get the results both here and in OZ, you just have to set the goals, and remain focused on them... go hard bro! d.
