My Mate and I went for a long needed surf @ Maori Bay on Manday afternoon. Great surf for a couple of old surfers. The bummer was that once we got out to the break we noticed 2-3 guys in front of our vehicles acting weared. It then dawned on us they were attempting to break into our cars, so we raced up ASAP to catch/stop/ prevent further damage. They took off, but not after doing about $1000 damage to one vehicle. They were in a black Mazda Capella (we believe)

Good on Dennis for using a public forum to let people know about a regular problem at the Bay. If you drive there to surf, you need to be careful. If you have a problem with him, get over it. I surf maori bay all the time and the carpark is full of bad people i wish everybody the best of luck in later visits to the bay. it realy is a magnificent place once you get to know it.

Im so confused - so Jay Q broke into Dennis the washed up has beens carwhile Matty filmed. Matty has known Jay for 25 years and should stay out of the water cos he just gets in the way and obviously poos in the water a lot - glad i sorted that out.
